Monkey Junior: Learn to Read is a free-to-run educational app for children. Kids can learn six different languages through a range of lessons.
Six Different Languages
Monkey Junior: Learn to Read includes six different languages: English, Spanish, Chinese, French, Russian and Vietnamese. It contains a wide range of lessons to help kids learn these languages, some focus on specific words and phrases, while others cover pronunciation, tones and so forth. Each lesson lasts for around ten minutes. In all, the app includes 3000 words divided by category; 6000 sentences; and 8000 images and videos used for illustration. Also included are educational games, along with colourful stickers used as rewards.

While Monkey Junior: Learn to Read is free to download and run, users are required to make a paid subscription for full access to the lessons. If you have a child who is learning to speak and read in any of the six languages covered, you may well find the complete app useful enough to justify the relevant fee. If not, you may still get use out of the free lessons.
